Julie Bell joined Baystate Ob/Gyn Group in 2008 and has been a Certified Nurse Midwife since 2000. Prior to that, Julie gained 18 years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse. Julie blends her vast "knowledge from experience" with her educational background to provide her patients with consistent, experienced midwifery care.
Julie's work with diverse populations both in urban and rural settings as well as her experiences as a parent of grown children and teenagers bring forth an intimate knowledge of the challenges faced by young women today. Her ability to connect with her patients and guide them through difficult situations in the context of achieving wellness is what makes her so appealing to women throughout all stages of their lives.

Embracing the notion of wellness through support and guidance, Julie is currently a facilitator for the CenteringPregnancy® program at Baystate Ob/Gyn, providing group prenatal care.
