American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG, www.acog.com) is the nation's leading group of professionals providing health care for women.  It was formed in 1951 and has a membership of over 37,000 physicians specializing in obstetric-gynecological care.  Although some of the information at this site is available only to member physicians, it also contains valuable information for the general public about current healthcare issues affecting women. 

The Women's Cancer Network (www.wcn.org) was developed by the Society of Gynecological Oncologists and is designed to give up-to-date information on treatment options for reproductive cancers - ovarian, uterine, cervical and breast cancer.  Healthy women can also use this site to obtain information on their personal risk for these diseases and to find out how the risks can be reduced.
