Linda Potito, RN Attends Urodynamic Conference

Linda Potito, RN, Clinician for our Incon Therapy program in our West Springfield office attended an in-depth Urodynamic Evaluation conference in June, 2010. The focus of the interactive course given by SRS Medical (makers of urinary incontinence treatment devices) was to discuss the many facets of urodynamic testing and pelvic floor muscle evaluation in diagnosing and treating urinary incontinence. Clinical practice guidelines, protocols and analysis of study data for accurate diagnosing were discussed with the many health professionals in attendance from around the country.

New urodynamic equipment

Linda is looking forward to incorporating the information gained at the conference into her clinical practice of urodynamic testing, using our new EasyPro urodynamic computer equipment. The acquisition of this system supports our dedication to modern technology to provide the best healthcare possible. The EasyPro equipment is designed to produce targeted clinical data that are easily interpreted through a user-friendly interface, providing accurate, reliable data in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence. Among other features, the EasyPro system includes enhanced electronic sensors to detect urinary leakage and pressure. With this new technology, we are able to analyze precise data, provide patients with important information about their incontinence symptoms, and ultimately devise a treatment plan that addresses each patient’s individual diagnosis. Please visit our urinary incontinence section to learn more about incontinence and treatment.
