Cindy Kennedy Attends Primary Care Conference
Cindy Kennedy, MS, FNP-BC, one of our Nurse Practitioners, attended a Primary Care conference in Jackson Hole, WY in early August. Several hundred practitioners from all over the US attended, including many nurse practitioners. Six speakers with credentials ranging from PhDs to NPs to MDs were the presenting faculty for the conference. The range of their own practice settings from inner city to less populated areas gave a wide range of experiences to share with the attendants.
Cindy attended sessions such as Evaluating Abdominal Pain, Current Trends in Contraception, How to work with High Risk Teens, Dietary Supplements, Osteoporosis and Obesity Issues. “I was able to network with other nurse practitioners and enjoy speakers with different opinions. As Nurse Practitioners, we each have a unique role in our practices that allows us to provide the individualized, excellent education-based healthcare that drives our passion for this field. Providing great care for each patient is at the cornerstone of our practice.” Read more about Cindy Kennedy!
