RECALL-Certain birth control pills
On January 31, 2012 Pfizer announced a nationwide recall of Lo/Ovral®-28 and Norgestrel/Ethinyl Estradiol tablets due to the possibility of inexact tablet counts or out of sequence tablets, which could leave women taking the affected pills without adequate contraception. This is an important news release for anyone currently taking this birth control. Please read the full announcement from the FDA. The pharmacy that dispenses your birth control pills can help you determine if your current pill pack(s) are affected, or if a pill pack that you have already finished was affected; if you have taken pills from an affected pack or if you have any concerns, please contact us.
