New Patient Information

To make the transition to our practice efficient and convenient, we have gathered a number of resources selected especially for new patients. We encourage you to use our online tools; however, please be assured that we are available during our normal business hours to address your personal needs. Thank you for choosing us for your care.

Frequently Asked Questions

While it is best to call the office that will deliver the majority of your care, the staff in any of our offices can assist you. That’s one of the great benefits of electronic medical records!

If you are experiencing a gynecological problem and need care, you can contact our office to set up an appointment. Because your medical care begins with our practice at your first visit, we cannot offer medical advice until you have been seen by us. If you cannot wait for your appointment, please contact your previous healthcare practitioner. If you have a medical emergency, you should go the emergency room.

Our practice offers many provider options to best fit your needs. We highly recommend that you get to know our providers even before you meet them in the office by taking a look at their online biographies that detail their education, professional background, and general approach to their practice of medicine. Feel free to speak with our appointment receptionists for greater insight into the providers who would best meet your needs!

BOGG is the acronym for Baystate Ob/Gyn Group, Inc.

Choosing a Practioner

We encourage you to read our practitioner biographies to find the best fit for your needs. Our physicians, nurse midwives and nurse practitioners all provide routine gynecologic care, and our obstetricians and certified nurse midwives provide obstetric (pregnancy) care.

You may also want to consider the following when selecting your practitioner:

Many of our practitioners have special areas of interest or expertise. Get to know a little about each one by reading their professional biographies.

Advanced Practice Clinicians such as nurse practitioners and nurse midwives are well-versed for providing routine care. Physicians are more appropriate for addressing complex medical problems and surgery needs.

If pregnancy is in your future, you may want to consider receiving your care from our obstetricians or midwives. Doing so will help build your relationship with the practitioners who can provide not only your gynecological care, but your pregnancy care as well. We invite you to visit our page related to practitioners who provide pregnancy care.
