Stefanie Beekmann, CNM joined BOGG in 2025 with valuable experience in emergency medicine and women’s health.  After graduating from Elms College of Nursing in 2019, Stefanie began her career as an emergency room nurse.  Over two years, Stefanie’s passion and dedication to women’s health blossomed into a purposeful transition to ob/gyn nursing. During this time, Stefanie was drawn to the midwifery model of care and began pursuing a master’s degree in midwifery. Stefanie graduated from the Baystate Midwifery Education Program in 2025, and is excited to provide person-centered care as well as shared decision making with patients. 

Stefanie is a Western Massachusetts native who is thrilled to be providing care within the community she has always called home.  Stefanie’s clinical interests include contraception, family planning, and trauma informed ob/gyn care. Stefanie is also a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for the state of Massachusetts. 

In her free time Stefanie enjoys reading, spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her fur baby Nelly Purtado!
