Interstitial Cystitis & Vulvadynia
Interstitial Cystitis/Vulvadynia
Interstitial cystitis (IC) is sometimes referred to as pelvic pain of bladder origin. It is a chronic condition of no known origin that can cause symptoms such as pelvic pain, pressure, urinary frequency, urinary urgency, vulvar pain, burning, discomfort, and pain with intercourse.
Patients with IC and/or vulvadynia may benefit from Incon Therapy by learning to isolate and relax the muscles of the pelvic floor and vulvar region for symptomatic relief in addition to other therapeutic modalities.
