STD Testing
STD Testing
STD testing is important for diagnosing and treating sexually transmitted diseases, some of which may not produce any symptoms. Often, early diagnosis and treatment is important for preventing further problems. Cultures (collected in our office during an appointment) and blood tests (collected at a laboratory) are the primary methods for STD testing. STD testing can include screening for:
- Genital herpes
- Gonorrhea
- Chlamydia
- HPV
- Syphilis
- HIV
- Hepatitis
If you would like to be screened for any of the above, please contact our office to make an appointment.
