Susan Libbos, CNM Retirement

After serving as midwife director of our All About Women midwifery group for most of her twenty-plus years of dedicated and loyal service in our practice, with much appreciation we congratulate Susan Libbos, CNM on her retirement in September 2016.

As the founding midwife of our premier, private-practice midwifery group (the first of its kind in the Pioneer Valley), Susan has remained steadfast in her vision to provide women with support and personalized healthcare not only during the critical time of childbirth or illness, but throughout their lives.  Helping to shape our midwifery group into the popular practice it has become, Susan never lost sight of the importance of compassion and the power of knowledge throughout her career. 

Susan said it best in her professional biography years ago: “I expect that my patients will have questions. That’s the part of my job that I love…it is rewarding to be able to take the time to explain something in a way that makes sense and has meaning to the patient so she can make informed decisions that fit her lifestyle. Every woman deserves nothing less than that.”

With deep appreciation for Susan’s contributions to our practice and her dedication to generations of patients over the years, we wish Susan well as she begins another exciting chapter in her life!
