Dr. Madison Decman’s scientific and technical training in medicine is nestled among a range of studies in the humanities; with this well-balanced background Dr. Decman approaches her practice of obstetrics and gynecology with a “whole person” approach and comprehensive understanding of how interconnected various body systems can be.

Beginning her medical education with a Bachelor of Science (with High Honors) in Behavioral Neuroscience, Dr. Decman’s undergraduate career at Lehigh University also included a double minor in “Health, Medicine, Society” and “Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies.” Dr. Decman returned to her home state of New York to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency training alongside our Physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives through the University of Massachusetts at Baystate Medical Center.
Dr. Decman’s distinguished honors have included the Excellence in Teaching award at Baystate Medical Center two years in a row, both in 2021 and 2022 as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. During her medical training, Dr. Decman was involved in numerous research studies, presentations, and publications. A true leader, Dr. Decman served in a number of medical leadership positions during her time at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and achieved the role of Chief Resident during her final year of residency at Baystate Medical Center, earning awards for Resident Teacher of the Year and Excellence in Outpatient Care.
In her free time Dr. Decman enjoys doing anything outside with her partner and puppy including hiking, kayaking, bike riding, and beach trips. Dr. Decman also loves immersing herself in a good book and spending quality time with her family and friends.
