Remodeled Labs Facilitate Workflow Efficiency

The laboratories and ultrasound areas in our Springfield office (suite 206) recently underwent a facelift! During the renovations we concentrated on how to maximize workflow efficiency, paying close attention to “the patient experience” during an appointment. Our medical assistants and practitioners find that the added storage and work space in the lab areas have had a positive impact on efficiency related to processing tests and recording results particularly for urine specimens, pregnancy tests, hemoglobins (“finger sticks”), and patient vital signs.  In addition to the renovations in the labs, one of our ultrasound rooms received a fresh coat of paint and new cabinetry.
