Ovarian and endometrial cancer detection

New research findings show promise for eventually being able to detect some ovarian and endometrial cancers from the cells collected during a Pap smear.  The findings are still very preliminary, and much more research must be conducted to validate the findings before a clinical test is developed…but as medical technology continues to advance we are hopeful for the future of detecting cancer in its earliest and most treatable stages. Read more from the New York Times.
