Ovarian and endometrial cancer detection
New research findings show promise for eventually being able to detect some ovarian and endometrial cancers from the cells collected during a Pap smear. The findings are still very preliminary, and much more research must be conducted to validate the findings before a clinical test is developed…but as medical technology continues to advance we are hopeful for the future of detecting cancer in its earliest and most treatable stages.
