Blood Drive - Thank You!
Thank you to all who participated in the blood drive at our West Springfield office on January 26, 2011! The team from Baystate Health’s blood donor center was able to collect seven units of blood despite our persistent winter weather pattern! Each unit of blood was processed into a unit of red cells and a unit of plasma.
Cheryl from the Baystate Blood Donor Center later shared that the donations from our blood drive helped save 14 lives in the community..."Your blood donations were used to treat open heart surgical patients, trauma patients in the emergency room, both adult and pediatric cancer patients at our D’Amour Center for Cancer Care, and a young child injured in an accident.”
It is truly a pleasure to give back to our communities! We look forward to our next blood drive and encourage you to consider donating!
